Vehicle-mounted Diesel Hot Water Module Boiler is specially developed for heavy-duty trucks, buses, RVs, engineering shelters and special operation vehicles. Adopting modular integrated design, it addresses challenges including cold start of vehicles in alpine regions, cabin heating, pipeline anti-freezing and domestic hot water supply, providing stable and independent water heating solutions for global mobile equipment.
As an independent liquid fuel heating module, it uses diesel as fuel and is powered by the vehicle’s 12V/24V storage battery. It can run independently even when the vehicle engine is off. The equipment integrates a combustion assembly, plate heat exchanger, circulating water pump, fuel pump, electronic control unit and multiple sensors into one compact module. Its vibration-resistant structure adapts to bumpy driving conditions, featuring simple installation and convenient maintenance & component replacement.
In terms of functions, the AIX Vehicle-mounted Diesel Hot Water Module Boiler delivers multiple heating benefits. First, engine preheating: it preheats engine coolant to greatly reduce wear caused by cold start and extend engine service life. Second, cabin heating: circulating hot water flows into indoor radiators to provide continuous heating and defogging / de-icing for cabs and passenger compartments. Versions for RVs and special shelters can be equipped with an independent heat exchange circuit to supply hot water for washing. Meanwhile, it keeps vehicle tanks, pipelines and precision equipment warm to prevent freeze damage in low temperatures.
Available in multiple power ratings from 5kW to 16.3kW, the product matches a wide range of vehicles from light trucks and RVs to large heavy-duty trucks, coaches and special shelters. It features low fuel consumption of 0.2~0.6 liters per hour and can automatically adjust combustion load according to water temperature. The unit is fitted with a multi-dimensional, full-process intelligent safety protection system. Designed for complex vehicle operating conditions including vibration, low temperatures and voltage fluctuations, it monitors operating status in real time. Once abnormalities are detected, the system will trigger warnings, reduce combustion load or shut down automatically to mitigate risks from overheating, combustion failure, water circuit and electrical faults, safeguarding vehicles and occupants.
It integrates multiple protection functions: Multiple temperature sensors monitor the outlet temperature of the heat exchanger and the combustion chamber wall temperature for overheat protection. If the medium temperature exceeds the safe threshold, the system reduces fuel supply first; when reaching the critical high temperature, fuel supply is cut off and combustion stops immediately to prevent heat exchanger damage. Low water/flow protection continuously tracks water circulation flow. In case of insufficient medium, blocked pipes or pump malfunctions that lead to low flow, combustion is quickly shut down to avoid dry burning. Flame-out protection uses flame sensors to detect combustion status. Upon ignition failure or unexpected flameout caused by vehicle vibration, fuel supply is instantly cut off, and the combustion chamber is purged to eliminate residual diesel vapor and prevent explosion risks. Voltage anomaly protection adapts to 12V/24V DC vehicle power supply. It limits power under overvoltage and triggers automatic shutdown at undervoltage to protect electronic control and ignition components. Short-circuit and overload protection is built into the electronic circuit. It cuts off power rapidly when circuit overload or short circuit occurs to prevent electrical fire hazards. Water pressure relief protection releases excess pressure automatically when thermal expansion raises the circuit pressure above the safety limit, protecting pipes and joints from burst and leakage.
The boiler performs automatic self-check of all sensors and components on startup. When protection is activated, fault codes are displayed on the control panel; selected models support remote alarms for fast troubleshooting. The whole safety system is developed in accordance with vehicle matching standards and meets CE and E-mark (ECE R122) certification requirements. Sensors and wiring connectors are reinforced against vibration to ensure stable signals without false alarms during driving, suitable for harsh working environments such as field operations and frigid regions.
The product supports operation via control panel, remote controller, timer and mobile remote control, and can start stably at an ultra-low temperature of -40℃.
Developed for overseas markets, this product series meets CE and E-mark (ECE R122) certification requirements and complies with European vehicle supporting safety standards, catering to supporting procurement demands of overseas commercial vehicles, camping RVs and special engineering equipment. Compared with fixed module boilers, this product is optimized for shock resistance, lightweight design, low-pressure water circulation and vehicle DC power supply. The fluid circuit adopts antifreeze circulation by priority to adapt to special working conditions of mobile equipment.
